Abs Swims, Bikes and Runs

"I may not hear the Rocky theme song, or see the sunset anywhere, but for me, this may be a sort of conclusion. An understated, rainy-day-sneakers sort of conclusion. An anticlimax, if you will. But the long and the short of it is that this kind of conclusion fits who I am. I didn't start running because somebody asked me to become a runner. One day, out of the blue, I started to run. Simply because I wanted to." Murakami

Tipping point reached.

Resolve has been mustered. Weight has begun to be shed. Down 3 Kilos in 4 weeks. Running has resumed, albeit in short and slow spurts. But damn running feels good. Still too early to say if my injuries are buried for good or if I will be able to muster enough resolve to run a full again but it's a start.

Primary goal right now is to get weight down, way down...before serious running can commence. Serious running would mean a 10K plus run which seems about 3 months away at best. Target is to shed another 10 kilos at least by March.
