Abs Swims, Bikes and Runs

"I may not hear the Rocky theme song, or see the sunset anywhere, but for me, this may be a sort of conclusion. An understated, rainy-day-sneakers sort of conclusion. An anticlimax, if you will. But the long and the short of it is that this kind of conclusion fits who I am. I didn't start running because somebody asked me to become a runner. One day, out of the blue, I started to run. Simply because I wanted to." Murakami

The pain is real - I

Another few steps in the right direction...I've reached a stage now where I'm running an hour with relative ease...you know that feeling where you stop after 60 - 65 minutes and feel like you could have gone on for another 20 quite easily but the legs start to give, the sides start to burn and the breaths are not breaths but a wheeze after those 20? Yeah that's where it is right now.

Humbling.
